DMLA StartUp Member Application

 

DESCRIPTION

The StartUp membership is for young companies that have been in business 3 years or less.

This membership is appropriate for companies working broadly across the ecosystem or in a more specialized way. Companies may work in areas such as content production, technology, AI, DAM, legal, technology, workflow, metadata, analytics, or rights management.

When the company reaches 3 years in operations, or revenues > $500,000, they will be asked to shift to either a Leadership or Innovator membership. If your startup is generating more than $500,000 in revenue, then please review the Leadership or Innovator memberships.

This is a voting membership - each StartUp member will receive 1 membership vote.

StartUp members are able to participate in working groups and committees, but may not run for the Executive Board until they have moved into the one of the core membership cateories.

The StartUp member must meet the qualifications and:

  • Certify annually that they will abide by the DMLA Code of Ethics.

  • Certify annually their revenue range.

  • Fulfill membership requirements as set by the Membership Committee and Board of Directors.

  • Membership applications are subject to approval by DMLA Board of Directors.

DUES

Dues are based on estimated annual revenue levels.

StartUp Membership - (<$500K) $800/year

In addition, new members will be assessed a one-time $500 onboarding fee upon acceptance.

Priority access to Showcase features. Website profile and links. Discounts to paid events.

VOTING OR NON-VOTING

StartUp members have 1 membership vote and may participate on committees and working groups.
